3 trainers from the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) and the Internal Security Forces (ISF) delivered a 3-day Imposters and Documents (ID) course (18-20 September 2017) to a total of 16 participants from LAF Military Police, ISF and Banque du Liban (Lebanon Central Bank).

The course was held at the ISF Training Academy in Aramoun and entirely delivered by the 3 trainers who have been trained by the Netherlands-funded component within the framework of the of the Enhanced Capability For Integrated Border Management in Lebanon (IBM Lebanon), funded by the European Union.

Over the 3 days, trainers applied the new version of the ID course which includes an innovative new written examination produced through close ICMPD and LAF collaboration.

The course demonstrated effective inter-agency cooperation with a multi-agency training team delivering training to a multi-agency audience. It also reinforced communication and collaboration between agencies involved in document abuse.
